Atlanta, Georgia (February 27, 2009) After two years of providing Suwanee, Georgia with the south's true 'cue, LowCountry Barbecue Restaurant, a fast-casual family-style restaurant, is closing their Suwanee, Georgia location. The final day of business is scheduled for Sunday, March 1, 2009.

"Due to the current economic climate, we're forced to close our restaurant, said Bennett Brown, President of LowCountry Barbecue Restaurant. Despite our efforts and loyal customer base, we were not able to make ends meet during this difficult time, said Brown. Our efforts will now be focused on our 24 year old catering business."

Founded by Bennett A. Brown in 1986, LowCountry Barbecue has become known as, "The South's True 'Cue, catering company.

For over 20 years, LowCountry Barbecue Catering has been a leader in Atlanta for providing guests with a true southern experience. The full service & express catering divisions specializes in the turn key style of catering for groups of 10 to 10,000. "Our goal is to cater to any type of occasion," Brown says.
